You've probably heard whispers about Nuanu Creative City, a new and exciting destination in Bali.

We’ve put together this comprehensive guide to help you navigate this unique creative hub in Bali, covering everything from its core philosophy to the practical details of your visit.

At its core, Nuanu Creative City is an innovative and ambitious project designed to be a "future city" where art, technology, and nature coexist in harmony.
The name “Nuanu” comes from the Balinese phrase "Nu-anu," which means "in process," reflecting its ever-evolving nature.
Founded by Russian tech entrepreneur Sergey Solonin, this project is a massive $100 million investment built on the foundation of the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—the harmonious relationship between humans, nature, and the spiritual realm.
The city's key principles are centered on sustainability, community, and education. Only 30% of the land is used for construction, with the remaining 70% kept green and pristine.
They’ve already planted over 15,000 trees and aim to recycle 70% of all waste. This commitment to being an eco-city in Bali is visible everywhere you look.
Beyond its environmental efforts, Nuanu Creative City is also a place for community building.
The project actively involves local artisans from the Beraban village and has a strong commitment to employing local Balinese people, with 90% of the staff being Indonesian and 50% of management positions held by locals.
Education is also a big part of their mission, with initiatives like the free Kids Academy that preserves traditional Balinese crafts.
Nuanu Creative City is located at Jl. Pantai Nyanyi, Tabanan, Bali.
Its prime location is a fantastic reason to visit, being only about 10 minutes from the famous Tanah Lot Temple and 20 minutes from the bustling area of Canggu.

Explore Bali with scooter
Since Nuanu Creative City is a bit further out from popular tourist hubs like Seminyak or Denpasar, renting a comfortable scooter is highly recommended.
For this, we suggest a Comfort scooter from Cinchy, such as the Yamaha NMAX or Honda PCX.
These scooters offer a smooth ride, which is perfect for the scenic journey to Nuanu. Plus, a scooter gives you the freedom to explore other attractions along the way.
Cinchy's Comfort Category scooters are ideal for this trip, with competitive daily rates starting from IDR 155,000 (~US$9), and even more affordable weekly and monthly packages.
The rental process is quick and easy, with minimal requirements: a valid ID, a valid driving license (International or SIM C), round-trip flight tickets, and hotel bookings.
Plus, Cinchy provides essential add-ons like a quality helmet, a phone holder, and a raincoat for free.
Their 24/7 customer support and free delivery/pickup service in major urban areas of Southern Bali make your trip even more convenient.
So, get on a Cinchy scooter and head to Nuanu Creative City to discover what a true future city concept looks like!
